after reading
Boo's list (and the fact that my lazy 5 list was noticed) I decided to make one of my own.
NOTE: I am starting this at 8:05 am, we will see how long this takes. My work will need me soon, I am sure.
1. I am the youngest of 3 girls (Kristen,
Laura, then me.) We are all two years and two months apart. I would not trade it for anything.
2. I LOVE being an aunt. Henry Thomas is the new little love of my life.
3. On june 3rd Trey and I will celebrate our 1st anniversary. Where has the time gone?
4. I LOVE being married. Trey is my best friend.
5. Sophie is the second pet I have ever had. Abby was my dog growing up and after she passed away I was unsure if I could love another the same way. Sophie has proved this to be false. I love her.
6. I have a hole in my head. Well, not so much a hole as it is a "dent", but it is more fun to say hole. We still don't know how this happened. Hair has never grown there. If you ask, I will show you.
7. My parents are the best. Really. They are fabulous and very much still in love.
8. I have been called a brat once or twice in my life. Growing up my cousins (and aunts, and uncles, and friends, and sisters, hmmm....) refered to me as "brat child". I never outgrew this nickname.
9. I can not spell. It's true. Without spellcheck I would be lost. Laura won the spelling bee in the 5th grade.
10. I can not do math. Again, true statement. I chose my major after looking through the MSU handbook and seeing which one required the least amount of math. It was Communication. It wasn't until my junior year in college that I really understood what PR was. Thank goodness I liked it.
11. I love to write and design websites.
12. When I was little I looked Chinese. My sisters used to tell me I was adopted from China, which may have lead to my next number...
13. I want to adopt a baby girl from China. Always have. Trey knew this before we got married. He is unsure about it. I pray that God will put the desire in his heart and he prays that God will take the desire out of mine. Hmmmm...I wonder who will win. Probably God.
14. I am not a very good driver, but have never been pulled over or been in a wreck.
15. I am not very good at watching movies. I have fallen asleap in the past two movies Trey has taken me to see. what a waste of $7.50.
16. I was born and grew up in Starkville. I adore it. Some would say a little obsessed. I miss it, but am so thankful to be in Hattiesburg right now.
17. Trey and I bought a house in October. It is fun.
18. I love dressing in costume. We moved into our house on Oct. 30, just in time for Halloween. I was so pumped. I bought all this candy and waiting with great anticipation for all the trick-or-treaters. No one came. I cried. Literally. I later learned who my neighbors were...old people and college students. It's cool though.
19. I love my job....most of the time.
20. I have never broken a bone.
21. I used to pass out. Yep. Faint. Seizures. Take your pick. All the time. My poor friends had a lot to put up with. I was on medicine for years and years. There was a point in college where I couldn't drive. 6 months no license. I am pretty sure I misspelled that, but am not going to change it. Thank goodness I grew out of this passing out phase.
22. I never drank in high school. Not until my senior trip.
23. I was grounded a lot growing up for my 'attitude'. what does that even mean? My daddy would put on his "banker face" (as we lovingly called it) and would lecture me for what seemed like hours. Laura never got in trouble and Kristen was ALWAYS in trouble. I was somewhere in the middle.
24. I love Mexican food. And sushi. Could eat it all day everyday.
25. I have never smoked anything. Oh wait. I did try a cigar with my friend Jill and Olivia. Not recommended.
26. I went to the same school K-12. Starkville Academy.
27. My senior year at SA, when the administration was in a stage of "transition", I conviced the new principal to do the following:
a) Allow me to go home to take a warm bath because I was cold.
b) Play Britney Spears over the intercom in between classes
among other things.
28. I was a KD in college and took it oh so seriously. We were Derby Day Champs 3 of the 4 years I was there. The other year was rigged.
29. I miss my friends so much.
30. I love getting real mail. My nana is good at writing me.
31. I grew up 2 minutes away from my Nana and Dada. My Dada passed away in November. I miss him so much
32. My Dada fought in WWII and struck out Joe Dimagio. (pretty sure that is misspelled too). I like to tell people this, because, come on, who else did both of these things?
33. My family has very "normal" jobs: daddy=banker, mama=secretary (such a small term for the work she does. I will call her "boss lady") Kristen= doctor, Laura=teacher. I once thought about becoming a lawer to round out the trend. I am not. I ruined the trend.
34. I used to want to be a vegatarian. I still do and am one on certain days. I call them my "vegetarian days"
35. I can't wait to dress my kids up in cute clothing.
36. I used to want a monkey. Still do, kinda.
37. I am terrified of roaches. Once I made Trey come home from work to kill one. It was in the bathroom. Even after it was killed I wouldn't go in there. I went to work without a shower that day.
38. I look like my mom right now. I hope I always do.
39. I love dressing up in evening gowns. The last time I really did this was my freshman year in college on the Homecoming Court as MSU. I plan on throwing a party soon where you can wear your wedding gown, evening gown, prom dress (no 2-pieces, please), etc... You all can come.
40. I like to cook.
41. I love to vacuum. Our whole house is hard wood floors, I want more rugs because of this love.
42. I mowed the grass this past weekend for the first time ever. I LOVED IT.
43. Love throwing parties and showers.
44. I don't think anything is more comfortable than Trey's old t-shirts and sweatpants
45. I like naps.
46. I am afraid of driving in the rain and avoid it whenever possible.
47. My fingernails look horrible. My feet look worse. Buy me a manicure and pedicure and I will love you forever
48. I have hated that I am so pale my whole life, but am learning to embrace it (and use Jergens Natural Glow)
49. I loathe wearing shorts. I like wearing skirts though.
50. I spend a large amount of time in my life day dreaming.
51. I love to shop, but hate to spend money.
52. I have been on two cruises...my senior year in high school and my senior year in college. The college one beat out the high school one by a long shot.
53. Trey and I went to Jamaica for our honeymoon. Tropical Storm Alberto was there the entire time. We still had fun, even though I was tanner BEFORE I got there.
54. I want to go to Paris.
55. I took three years of french and used to be pretty good at it. I should pick that back up. J'adore francais. See?
56. I like making To-Do lists. Sometimes I make them for the day before, just so I can cross things off.
57. I am named after my mama. Her name is Melita Joy. Mine is Heather Joy. Heather was such a hit in the 80's.
58. I had the greatest childhood. I knew no hurt or pain.
59. I have a crazy imagination, sometimes it leads to crazy stuff.
60. I would not trade my summers in Maine for anything. I learned so much.
61. Some of my friends from those summers came to our wedding (two came from England!)
62. I love to dance.
63. I need to go shoe shopping. Now you know.
64. When I was little I had surgery on my stomach. I remember vividly throwing up on the nurse. I still feel kinda bad for that.
65. My parents went to the Master's one year and I told people they went to the Kentucky Derby. I guess I was confused.
66. I married a hunter that drives a truck, two things that I said I would never do.
67. Trey has a great sense of style. I am thankful for that. I like his bowties.
68. I love music. I think I have a great taste in music.
69. My birthday is Cinco de Mayo. Sombraros are always appropriate.
70. Ironically, I never had a mexican themed birthday party growing up. I am still upset about this.
71. Birthdays are a big deal in my family. We celebrate for a week.
72. When I was in the 1st grade (maybe 3rd, maybe 7th, I don't know) I wet my pants at school.
73. I love airports. I could watch people for days.
74. It takes a lot for me to get embarassed.

78. I like my nose.
79. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends.
80. There was a time when my passing out medicine (see #21) made me a little loopy. I was mean. I should give a shout out to Amanda for putting up with me for two years. THANKS!
81. I have been a bridesmaid 4 times, proxy 2 times, flower girl 2 times (ps - Lisa, I am sorry my hair was so ugly in your wedding. Geez.), will be an honorary this november, and a bride once. I also served the punch in
MSKS wedding. I was not very good at it.

red and favorite cake is strawberry with cream cheese icing
90. I love holiday festivities and decorations.
91. I make trey die easter eggs, carve pumpkins, make gingerbread houses, etc..
92. I went hunting (no guns were involved) for the first time ever over thanksgiving. I went with Trey. While I looked ridiculous and hate guns and blood, I found the woods to be peaceful. I went in the evening. Never wake me up at 4 a.m. to go sit in the woods.
93. I am rarely not hungry.
94. When I was little I had all kinds of barbies and a real cool barbie house. I was convinced that they came to life when I was at school.
95. Laura and I tried to paint that same barbie house with toothpaste. It was a custom made barbie house. I don't think my mom was happy. It is still in the attic at my parent's home, toothpaste in the cracks and all.
