new look...

the blog, not me, although I am in dire need of a haircut.

I played around with photoshop last night and came up with this border...thoughts? comments?
I am a nerd, I know this, but I enjoy the small things in life, such as photoshop and color, so humor me.

Also, a few things worth mentioning:

1) Trey leaves tonight for Boca Raton for work. I gotta say, we may work for the state and may never be millionares, but the perks of our jobs are amazing. In the next few months I will be traveling to Brekenridge and St. Louis. You can't beat an all-paid-for-kinda-work-kinda-play trip! The only wish I have is that Trey and I could travel together. I want to go to Boca Raton, too! (in the words of Trey, "To do what??? Play bingo with the retirees?") How judgemental.

2) Trey went to Home Depot last night. I come to the realization that when Trey says he is going to "look around" or "price a few things" at the Home Depot, he is coming home with at least one purchase. Well, last night it was two.
He pulled up with two Red Maple trees in the back of his truck. So...we planted two trees in our front yard. We are excited about coming back in ten and seeing the beautiful leaves on the trees that we planted.

3) Laura comes to see me tomorrow!!! YAY! Since she doesn't work in the summers (boo on her) she is coming to babysit me while Trey is gone! Sophie and Max have the best time playing with each other, so Soph and I are thrilled to have company.

4) I never gave a report on Sophie's first stay away from family. In the words of the "camp counselor" (as I like to call them) "Sophie didn't play with the other puppies during play time. She liked to be by herself." HAHA! We are raising a snob.
