Tonight, at 6 p.m., the bulldogs will play in the first round of the NCAA world series in Omaha. I have printed off a bracket (which can be found here) and taped it to my office door, as well as posted it on my office bulletin board. I want everyone to know that while it is true that I am currently working for a different school, I still bleed maroon and white. Maroon blood runs deep, I tell ya.
So get your cowbells out and put your party pants on, because tonight, my friends, the MSU bulldogs will take on North Carolina in Omaha in game that is sure to be one step closer to sweet victory for the bulldogs in their quest for a national championship.
I am about to head out for the coast to give sweet Ivy Kate some kisses and then pick up the husband from the airport. His mom and dad are boiling shrimp for us tonight, and boiled shrimp waits for no one. Peace out.
