What camera do you recommend? What do you use?
I need a nice one.
{I wish I could say this was for my personal use, but it is not. I need a new one for work.}
What do you recommend? Why? Price options? Lenses?
I am not a professional photographer, and am not expected to be at my job. I just need something that is user friendly and can take nice pictures of our events and such.
One day I will own a nice one for myself. It is my ultimate material item on my wish-list.
Come on, don't be shy. Comment.
Muchas gracias!

What price range are they looking into? I use a Canon Rebel XS. We got it at Sams and it came with the kit lens, zoom lens, case and adapters and it was around $600.
My dream camera would be a Canon Mark 5D or 7D, but you are looking at a couple of thousand for the body, I think. Sigh.
I have a canon rebel and like it!
Ihave a Canon rebel also for personal use, but I bought a camera for work when I was on campus and got a Nikon. When we first started looking, I emailed Megan Bean and got her input and that REALLY helped! We also bought a separate flash attachment and it made taking good pics at indoor events SO much easier/better!
We have a nikon D90...
i have a nikon d90 and it's a great camera. i think there is a d80 that just came out and a d60 that are both good options too. And I have tons of friends with Canon Rebels and all seem to really like them as well.
PS - precious 2 year pictures of Jones. they grow up way too fast!
I have a Canon Rebel - and I love it. The new ones are fabulous, and I'm dying for one! Seriously - can't go wrong!!
Heather,
There's a website called Steve's Digicams (hafta google it) that has descriptions, details, pictures (of the cameras and of the pictures they take) and recommendations that have been useful to me in choosing cameras.
I have a Cannon XSi. It's a little above the XTi and basically can take pictures in lower light. It's simple to use and I love it.
