But before I leave the football topic all together, I have to first comment on the State game last weekend. Inches away from beating LSU. People were expecting us to get slaughtered. It was a great game - Win or lose, I am so proud of my dogs.
I am now changing the subject.
Some things I have noticed since I have been pregnant (or at least known I was pregnant):
1) My skin is breaking out. I have never been one to break out so this is bothering me in the most intense way. luckily, my face has remained relatively clear of the break outs. Small price to pay for a baby, I know, so I am not complaining. Just stating the facts.
2) My body has already started changing. Is this normal for 10 1/2 weeks? I googled it. Which, I should have learned my lesson by now about googling. I googled my symptoms before I knew I was pregnant and was convinced it was diabetes. No. It was a baby. But I must google. So I did. And it said that some people don't show until month 5. Tell me this is false. I can't wait for the belly to look pregnant, though. Right now I just look bloated. Again, no complaints, just stating.
3) My appetite is outrageous. Which may explain observation #2 more than anything. I eat several snacks a day. In fact, I think I need popcorn right now.
4) I now know where Pet Smart, a smoothie shop, TJ Maxx, and Sonic are all located in Gulfport. I think that is a great first week. This week: grocery store. Wish me luck.

My face broke out like crazy for the entire first trimester! But it cleared up immediately after the first three months. I hope you have a great pregnancy!
You can show at any time. I showed pretty early and had a huge appetite. Just eat healthy snacks and you will gain the right weight and provide healthy nutrients to your baby (but ice cream every night is ok...you need your calcium...or at least that is what i tell myself)
I somehow missed your preggo post. Congrats to you and Trey!!!! I know I was showing by 10 1/2 weeks, but then again... I have two.
you failed to mention that you went to mcalisters and ordered a plain baked potato with salsa and green peppers. odd.
I love to hear the weird things women eat when they are pregnant. Mine was pepporicini peppers - by the jar. ughhh the heartburn! :)
I don't remember when I starte to show. You're little, so you may start showing sooner :) You'll have to post baby bump pics!
my last football comment until the next time - I think that college football is so emotional - we get wrapped up in our teams and take it personally when they lose - at least I do.... lol but I try to keep it in perspective. I love to dish it out, so I have to take it, too :)
happy Wednesday!
I remember the 10 wks stage, and YES it's totally normal for you to look different already- especially because you are so tiny!
I remember thinking "I'm just ready to be huge and people won't have to wonder hmmmmm is that girl pregnant" :)
Based on LT's comment about your salsa and peppers potato order, I'm predicting a BOY. I craved salty stuff. Like out of control. And yes, I ate pretty much every 2 hrs. And I loved every minute of it :)
It's true.. the less fat you have in your middle section, the sooner you will start to show. PLEASE stop looking up your questions on the internet... you have free access to an OB-GYN 24/7!!! PS today, Meghan said she thought it was a girl too?? we shall see!!
Hi Heather! I just recently started reading your blog (I worked with Laura last year). Anyway, my skin was also HORRIBLE the first few months of my pregnancy! My back and arms even started getting bumps! However, I have good news - it goes away! As far as showing goes, I started around 10 weeks! Everyone was convinced it was twins I was so big (turns out they were wrong and we are expecting one). Anyway, congrats on the pregnancy!!!
