SEC football action begins today. Oh how glorious!
I am sad I will not be making the trek to the land of maroon and white this weekend to witness the start of a new era. Trey's birthday is saturday and he has to work. I could not leave him
alone on his birthday while working. Call me a good wife. I just could not do it. Plus, my parents and Nana are staying with us Saturday night. So ready for them to be here.
They are attending a wedding in New Orleans, but will be staying with us since n'awlins is practically right down the road. Hence the Saints attire and car memorabilia seen around town. I love a good football team just as much as the next red-blooded American, but I do not see a point in fully decorating your car to show your support. Not bumper stickers or tags or even flags from the window, mind you. I am talking about full on painted car.
But to each it's own, so I digress.
Well, I hope all of your cowbells dusted off for this weekend. Mine will be from afar. Go State!
