it has been christened

The rug for Jones' playroom came in last night. I am not 100% sold on it. It is a bit loud and busy, but I told Trey I would put it down and live with it for a couple of days then make up my mind.

2 seconds after it was down, Jones crawled on the rug and spit up all over it. Does that mean he loves it and wants to keep it? Or hates it and was showing his disgust?

Either way, I can't send it back now without a guilty conscience. So it looks like the rug is ours.

I think I will like it better once I change the window treatments (it's a sun room. lots of windows.) and paint the walls (no clue what color...suggestions? I don't need it to be loud).

I love the rug! He was puking on it to tell you that he wanted to keep it! :)

Maybe paint the room a pail blue.... And the window treatments and paint will make the rug look great. But if you don't like it, some rug cleaner will make it good as new :)

I like the rug a lot! Picking out rugs overwhelms me though, so I understand. But everything is looking good!

Love the rug. Keep it. Once you get the walls and window treatments like you want them, you will love it too! It is very cute, and cute rugs that are affordable are hard to find! Where did you get it?

Oh I think its so cute! I agree either a very pale blue version of the blue in the rug- with white twill drapes, or a neutral light khaki wall. Love the shelf!!!

I LOVE the rug too!!! Depending on where the room is in your house, my vote for wall color is the brown or mustard in the rug. I agree with some white/cream curtains. LOOKS SO CUTE IN THERE! LOVE the book shelf that trey made!
