stroller help

There are too many stroller options.

Travel system or not? I feel like a travel system would be convenient, but I may be wrong.

What brand?

What weight limit?

I just don't want to spend money on the wrong one only to hate it. Decisions, decisions!!

Please help!!

graco worked great for us! We liked the travel system. whatever you do don't buy eddie bauer, we took ours back very quickly and got the graco

We have the chico travel system. the carrier is a little heavy, BUT we bought it bc of the height of the stroller. I know trey is tall and the chico handle will raise up higher than the others! It was what sold us... Make sure you "test drive" them and you also fold up the stroller and pick it up in the store... You will be picking iit up and putting in the car a lot!

This is what worked for us. Graco Travel System (the carrier clicks into the stroller easily for airports, and walks, etc) then later the child can sit in it by himself, i still take Walker for rides in it when we go shopping etc. And then we also got an umbrella stroller to do quick things like festivals or malls, etc. just a lighter option and then i was blessed to get a jogger. If you are a runner or even a exercise walker you'll need something sturdy like this the Graco stroller is horrible on pavement when trying to exercise.

that's my 2 cents.
good luck- i would def. go to babies r us and test some out though and see what you like :)

Take care, Elizabeth

i got a graco travel system too. loved it until i wanted to get some exercise... the wheels would wobble if i walked even kind of fast. i eventually got a jogging stroller. baby trend has a jogger travel system at babies r us!

good luck finding one. i know how overwhelming it can be!

i say no to travel systems...but that might just be me. seem too bulky. we have the UppaBaby Vista...LOVE IT!!! it has the bassinet feature, which i HAD to have and we used it a TON the first 3 months or so. we have the chicco keyfit infant carseat and have the adapter for the uppa stroller...so we use that feature a lot too. the toddler seat (which they fit into starting around 4-5 months) can face you or the front...love that. check it out! such a cool stroller and very easy to use.

oh, we have the BOB jogging stroller too...it's the best for outside!

Ok so you have no idea who I am but I am related to Amanda Cantrell. I saw your post while blog surfing I have the Bumbleride flyer and LOVE it it is a stand alone stroller but they have a list of carseats that can attach to it to make it a travel system and the best part is they have carseat covers to match the stroller so it looks like a travel system without being bulky, If I had it to do over I would have probably spent the extra money and got the indie bc we ended up buying a jogging stroller and I think that would have fit my 3 wheel needs. Overall I have nothing bad to say about it (xcept undercarriage storage is a little slim but i found that to be true with most all strollers)You should definitely check them out!

We have the Combi carseat. We also got the stroller that the seat connects to...it was sold separately though. Love it! Then when IK was able to sit up a little we got a Chicco umbrella stroller. Love it too! Now I have a stroller for both of them that is as BIG as a train! :)

We got the Graco travel system. No complaints! I have really enjoyed it! Its quite handy when you just have to run into a store for a second when they are younger. You just pop out the carrier and can carry them inside. However, if you do go this route, you really do need a separate jogging stroller.

Ok so pretty much they're ALL bulky. There's just really no way around it for the baby to be safe, it to be effective, etc. We used the Grace travel system and it was wonderful. I agree with the above that if you want something for jogging, I would look into buying something separate for that. GracO stroller is great for malls and such but just not for high speed running..although I did use it for walks around the neighborhood ALL OF THE TIME! Don't stress too much because like all baby fun things.... they do grow out of it all way too fast! :)

I really wish I hadn't bought the travel system. The stroller isn't super comfy and NOT good for curbs, bumps in the sidewalk and any surfac that isn't perfectly flat.

If I could go back, I would buy one of those frames that your carseat clicks into and buy a jogging stroller once the baby was a bit bigger.

I use our jogging stroller every single day and the big old Graco just sits in the trunk.

I had the Graco MetroLite. It was very light and easy to travel with. BUT...only really ever used it shopping. (now use umbrella stroller shopping) My jogger is what we always use! If you plan to exercise with the baby you will want one on these. BOB's are awesome!

I steered away from the travel systems and went with the baby trend snap-n-go stroller. It's just a simple frame and they have a list of what car seats are compatible with it. It's very light weight and I've been told that's the way to go =)
I am going to get a double/jogging type stroller once they get a little bigger...
Hope this helps!!

We have the chicco travel system and love the car seat. I would probably do the inexpensive stroller frame and chicco infant car seat. The chicco stroller takes up a lot of room and is heavy.
The maclaren umbrella stroller is great! It's taller than most and small and light.
As for the car seat you use after 8-12 months go with britax they are crash tested higher, very comfy, and great quality.

I have no idea about strollers, but I still cannot wrap my mind around that you are blogging about them. xoxo

We did the Snap N Go system like Jenny Ruth... but it was a LOT cheaper than the travel system. It was a wiser decision for us. I think the biggest help of the travel system is if they fall asleep in the car you don't have to wake them to get into a stroller. Then, when he can sit up, you can get one of those inexpensive umbrella strollers.

On a different note... I demand an updated belly pic! You are too cute to not post those!

We got the chico travel system. Really enjoyed it. We got the smaller stroller..there were two options.

Need to be able to fold and unfold EASILY!!!

Eventually, I got a jogging stroller, LOVE IT, but it barely fits in my car trunk.

I know all the options are overwhelming....just choose one and go with it! :) There are pros and cons on all of them.

I've researched this and have talked to many friends in the past few weeks before I went to register-- and the big conclusion was: graco snugride carrier with the stroller base (it's only $70 and not big like the travel system). And then of course a BOB stroller for exercising, etc. Of course- those things aren't cheap!
